Project Staff- International project team, Sumatra- Indonesia.


Exciting opportunities exist within an International project team delivering on a high value contract with one of the world’s largest Oil companies in Indonesia.

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented Environmental Engineers/Geologists for a Large Scale International Project. Based in Sumatra- Indonesia, you will work under the direction of Senior Project Managers and Partners and will focus on site investigation and remediation activities.  This is a great opportunity to work with ERM's technical experts on site investigation, remediation and construction projects with multi-person project teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Project staff your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Conducting  field work, including soil, sediment, ground water, and surface water sampling, aquifer testing, drilling oversight and soil logging, soil boring and monitoring well installation, well development, purging and sampling, and construction oversight.
  • Providing construction oversight on environmental remediation projects, and operations and maintenance of environmental remediation systems.
  • Compiling and reviewing data, preparation of site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports.
  • Working within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors in environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or related discipline; Masters a plus.
  • 1 year experience, including willingness/interest in working on field assignments in remote and difficult locations.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Fluent in English, Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
    • Strong commitment to safety.
    • Ability to succeed in a consulting pace, handling multiple project assignments, and maintaining flexibility, while meeting strict deadlines.
    • Fresh/Recent graduates are welcome to apply
